Jared Johnson
Financial Advisor
jared.johnson@riverrun-wealth.com
Jared Johnson approaches financial advising with a unique blend of analytical discipline and heartfelt purpose. His journey began not in a finance classroom but under the night sky, where he studied Astronomy and Physics and once dreamed of becoming an astronaut. The scientific mindset he developed—pattern recognition, data analysis, strategic navigation—deeply shapes the way he helps clients make sense of the financial universe.
A graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s in Physics and Astronomy, Jared discovered during his senior year that financial literacy was just as essential as scientific literacy. This realization sparked his transition into financial advising, and by January 2021, he earned his professional licenses and joined Equitable. Today, he works alongside 5‑Star Wealth Managers who serve individuals and families throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Growing up, Jared learned the value of financial discipline from his father, a lifelong saver who unintentionally instilled habits that would shape Jared’s future. Those lessons—combined with the analytical rigor of his scientific background—fuel Jared’s mission to bring organization, clarity, and confidence to every client’s financial plan.
Jared specializes in financial education and structured planning. His work focuses on helping clients define short‑ and long‑term goals, understand the strategies available to them, and build tailored plans to move from where they are today to where they want to go. He sees financial planning much like charting a course through the stars: identify patterns, anticipate risks, and move forward with purpose.
Whether someone is saving for a dream, preparing for retirement, or building generational security, Jared is dedicated to demystifying finance and guiding clients with strategy, vision, and a touch of star‑inspired curiosity.
